IMPORTANT: Meet info and Program
Happy Friday!
Get excited for our first regular season meet of the summer tomorrow! Please read this ENTIRE email as it has a ton of important information. Reach out to [email protected] with questions.
Timeline:
7:15- Everyone will arrive to the pool with their team suit, team cap, and goggles ready to go! You MUST wear the team suit to participate.
7:30- All swimmers ages 10 and under will warm up
7:45- All swimmers ages 11 and up will warm up
8:00- Team meeting and team cheer on the grassy area next to concessions. The meet will begin directly after, starting with the 100 Medley Relay. If your swimmer is in the Medley relay they need to report to the coaches directly after warm-ups in order to get lined up.
Please be completely ready to get into the pool 5 minutes before your age group designated warm-up time. Every swimmer needs to attend warm-ups because it gives them time to get their bodies ready to race and the opportunity to practice starts.
Meet Program:
Program is attached to this email. Please print out, highlight your swimmer(s) names, and bring with you to the meet. Before the meet begins every swimmer should know what event, lane, and heat they are in. Tip: write this with Sharpie on your swimmer’s arm! The meet will be moving fast since it is an inter-squad meet, so every swimmer must report to the clerk of course to line up for their event at least four events before they are swimming.
Relays:
Below are the relay groups. If you are in the Medley Relay, you need to report to the coaches to get ready to line up directly after warm-ups. If you are in the free relay, you need to report to the clerk of course as soon as the butterfly events begin.

Other Reminders:
- You all did an awesome job of cheering on teammates last week- so keep up the energy this weekend! Everyone should be up on the pool deck the entire meet cheering on their teammates.
- Please stay until the very end of the meet to- we are all one team so we support everyone throughout all races!
- Remember everything that we worked on at practices- fast starts and finishes, quick turns, staying on your back the entire time in backstroke, two hand touches, etc.
- Stay in the pool until the last swimmer finishes and shake hands with swimmers in the lanes next to you. No matter how we swim our races, the most important thing is showing good sportsmanship and being a good teammate to EVERYONE!
- You MUST wear the team suit and team cap to the meet tomorrow in order to participate. This is our team uniform, so it is expected that everyone wears their suit to represent Bay Hills.
- Go in and give it your all! We might not swimming another team, but your times are counting towards qualifying for medal meets so get excited for your race and give it 100 percent!!
- Drink water and stay hydrated.
- Bring money for concessions!! We will be having full concessions this meet so lots of food to fuel your swimmers!
- Please stay at the end of the meet to help with break-down. The more help we can get, the quicker the break-down will be. Thank you in advance for helping out!
You all have worked so hard these past few weeks so now is the time to get in and show us what you got. Have fun and swim fast!
GO BAY HILLS!
