Good morning families.  We hope you have enjoyed these past two weeks of "no swim mornings".  Congratulations to all of the swimmers!  Undefeated feels pretty good!  

Hopefully you enjoyed the team end of season party.  If you weren't able to make it, you were missed.  There are still a lot of bags with awards and plaques and t-shirts that need to be picked up.   Please reach out to Sandra Stevens at [email protected] or 443-604-2045 to make arrangements to pick up your goodies.  

As we shared at the team party, there are some changes coming next year.  Coach Jessica and Coach Ethan will not be able to coach as they are moving on in their professional lives.  We can't thank them enough for their time and commitment to The Barracudas! Coach Aidan will still be with us.  So, we are looking for a head coach.  If you know of anyone who is interested please let us know or have them reach out to us directly.  Ideally we need someone with plenty of experience. Swim coaching is not just about being a swimmer and "knowing" how to coach, there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes.  On the Board side Lacey Barry has stepped down as our president.  Thank you again Lacey for all of your work and time on our Board.  Sandra Stevens will be stepping up from Vice President to President. This leaves us with vacancy in the Vice President role.  If you are interested in that position please reach out to us.  And finally our Treasurer, Noelle Semmes has stepped down since she no longer has a swimmer.  Noelle has been our treasurer for more years than I think she cares to say.  Thank you very much Noelle.  Elizabeth Cornachione has stepped up to volunteer for this position, thank you Elizabeth!  The Board positions are all volunteer based.  Work begins in November and goes through the season.  Like all parent volunteer roles, you do it to be a part of the work and changes and growth of the team. 

In the next few weeks we will be sending out a quick feedback/survey document.  We feel like it's important to get YOUR feedback.  While not every suggestion can be implemented right away, every suggest is heard.
