Barracudas!

Are we getting excited for our first meet of the summer?  Chase Creek will be a tough Team, BUT SO ARE WE!!!! The meet should be very close so let's get psyched! 

There is a Pep Rally scheduled for tonight at 6:30pm, at the pavilion, and hopefully Mother Nature will give us a window of time to come together for a little pep talk and cheers!  I will send out an email if we need to cancel, so please plan to come!

• Report time - 7:30am 
• Warm-up time (in the water) - 7:50 - 8:20am Coaches will need to divide our lare Team into 2 warm-up groups. 10&Unders first, then 12&Up
• Meet start time - 8:30am

Parking, Seating & Concessions info  

We have a tricky parking situation with limited space. Our small parking lot fills quickly, but we have a small lower grass lot that you are welcome to. Please do not park on the street. We also have the Pines on the Severn neighborhood field up the street from the pool. Enter the Pines on the Severn neighborhood from Ritchie Highway, and you will see a playground/field on your right at the 4-way stop sign. There will be a parking attendant there to direct you in the field. From there, it's a <5-minute walk to the pool. It is hilly so if people want to drop off first and then head up, that's an idea. We also will have a golf cart shuttling people down. 

Seating: Your team can set up in any grass area towards the back of the pool grounds, as well as the skinny pool deck side to the left as you enter. We will clear the large lounge chairs to create space, so you are welcome to bring tailgate chairs.

Concessions: Will be cash and PayPal. We are hoping to have our card reader cooperating, but it can be finicky. 

We have a lot of families that will bring pop-up tents, and are often happy to share. If you have a tent, please consider bringing it in case you or someone on the Team can use it.

Attached is the Heat Sheet (or line-up for events). Swimmers may have been entered into other events, based on what the Coaches need to put them in to hopefully have the best chance to swim well, and WIN!  Again, the meet appears to be very close on paper.  But what the paper doesn't know is WE HAVE HEAT AND HEART MAKES ALL THEDIFFERENCE!!!  Every swim, every place, every point counts!!!!

A few swimmer entries were missed last night, and we are trying to ask Chase Creek to allow us to add them, but we may not know until later tonight or even tomorrow morning. Coach Dean has been in contact with them and will reach out to the affected swimmers.
