Barracudas!

Good morning everyone!  Great effort and Team spirit yesterday against the Mustangs!  We are so proud of how you swam, your good sportsmanship, and how we all came together to run a great meet!  Once again, we heard so many compliments from the other Team about how Bay Hills cheers & supports everyone at the meet.  Our reputation for being THE BEST TEAM to swim is known throughout the league - let's keep it going!!!!

Wow!  Another exciting meet that ended in a nail-biter with both Free relays winning by less than .50 seconds!!  Regardless of whether we won those races or the meet, it doesn't get any more suspenseful and exhilarating than having the last race of the meet come down to .03 seconds!!!!  Congratulations to all of our swimmers that dropped time, tried a new event, and fixed an issue with their technique so they weren't disqualified!!!!

Congratulations to all those swimmers that achieved a qualifying time for our end-of-season Medal Meets - the Gold, Silver and Bronze Meets. These are GASL's Championship Meets scheduled for 7/19, 7/22 and 7/23. Qualifying times for these meets were included on the revised Heat Sheet sent out Friday evening.  More information will be shared on these meets as GASL releases them.

Our next meet will be against the Indian Hills Water Llamas, on Saturday 7/1, at their pool.  The pool is 6-lanes, 20-yards long.  Our pool is 25-meters long, so swimming in the Indian Hills pool will be like swimming in an 18-meter pool.  But that doesn't mean the Water Llamas aren't a strong, fast Team!!!  We still need to train hard this week and do our best next Saturday.

The Meet Sign-up is open - please declare and let us know if you will be attending.  We will be closing the Sign-up at 5pm on Wednesday.  The deadline has been moved up so we can start working on the line-up earlier this week. Please don't wait to sign-up!!! 

Monday is Team Picture Day, please be on-deck in your current season Team suit by 7:15am, regardless of your normal practice time. The order form is attached.  Jessica Moran will be taking the Team photo as well as individual pictures of your swimmer(s), if you would like them. The team photo will be taken before individual photos. Please bring the completed order form with you, along with form of payment, or give it to your swimmer if you are dropping them off. We accept cash, check or Venmo.

Friday Pep Rally at the Pavilion, starting at 6:30pm - please plan to attend. We will come together as a Team to talk about Saturday's meet, do cheers, and get psyched!!
