Barracudas!

Just wanted to share a few reminders about upcoming events and some information for our meet against Evergreen this Saturday.  The line-ups are not yet finalized; we will share the Heat Sheet and Relay line-ups once they are available.

Tie Dye Practice - Friday 7/7

We will be doing tie dyes immediately following each of the respective practices tomorrow, Friday 7/7.  Please be sure to bring an item to tie dye.  Our awesome Social Committee will provide the dye and other supplies. 

Pep Rally - Friday 7/7 6:30pm

Weather permitting, we will be meeting at the Pavilion at 6:30pm to get psyched up for our meet against Evergreen on Saturday!!!  This will be another close meet, so let's get these Barracudas ready to go!!!!

Evergreen Meet Information

Our meet against Evergreen this Saturday is at their pool.  The pool is 25-yards long with 4-lanes.  The pool does not have a 5-foot deep end so swimmers will be doing in-water starts.  We have been practicing these all week so we'll be ready.  But only having 4-lanes means a longer meet overall, so please be sure to pack your patience, and lots of water and sunscreen!!!  Below is some more information on the meet:

• The pool address is 219 Sycamore Road, Severna Park 21146. They have a small parking lot, so most families will need to park on the street. Please be mindful of where you park and do not block driveways. There is plenty of parking on Sycamore, the side streets and cul de sacs. Please do NOT park where no parking signs are listed in the lot.
• Our team will sit on the side of the pool to the right when you first enter, including the diving well area. Please do NOT sit in the baby pool area. They have some chairs, but please bring your own chairs. There is room for pop-up shade tents on the pool deck on our side.
• They have a cash-only concession stand open the entire meet. Donuts, coffee, cold drinks, taco in a bag, hot dogs, hamburgers, candy, snow cones and more will be available.
• Please report to the pool early and be on-deck by 7:30am. Warm-ups are 7:50 - 8:20am, and the meet will start at 8:30am.
• There will be an officials meeting at 8:10am, by the flagpole
• There will be a timers meeting at 8:10am, by the Starter area

We will send out the Heat Sheet and Relay assignments once everything has been finalized. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
