Barracudas!

Thank you for all for such a strong effort in swimming your very best against Hunt Meadow this past Saturday!  While the final score was not in our favor, it by no means reflects how hard you all have worked and what kind of Team we are.  Bay Hills demonstrated outstanding sportspersonship, comradery, grit and determination; and we did our very best!  Chin up, positive mindset and let's move on!!

The results are attached and here is a meet summary:

• 302 splashes
• 147 improved times

Final score: Hunt Meadow - 310, Bay Hills - 193

We continue to see incredible growth throughout our Team, and we couldn't be more proud of everyone!!  Our Personal Best ribbons have arrived and so we will work to get them printed out and deliver them to practices later in the week.

And a BIG thank you to all of our Volunteers who helped make the Hunt Meadow meet possible!

This week

As we prepare for our next meet against Indian Landing, this week we will focus some of our time on Breaststroke and Butterfly, working some drills to help introduce and improve on the key elements of each stroke. This Friday we will have both a Tie Dye Practice activity and a Poster-making Pep Rally.  The tie-dying activity will take place after each regularly scheduled practice; please bring 1 item to tie-dye.

This Saturday's meet against Indian Landing is home, here at Bay Hills.  The meet sign-up will close at 3pm on Wednesday.  Please take time to log into Swimtopia and let us know if you are attending or not, and what your event preferences are.
