Good evening Barracudas!

Great job at the Mock Meet everyone!  From swimmers to volunteers, to our cheerleading parents - thank you!  The weather wasn't the best, and we had a few challenges, but the Concessions were delicious and we were all together and that's what counts!

Attached please find the results of the meet, through most of Freestyle.  Please note - we did include Disqualifications (DQs) in the results.  If your swimmer was DQd, the Coaches will talk with your swimmer about what that means and how we can do the event legally in the future. Even though our Mock Meet was a practice meet, we did ask GASL (our league governing body) to recognize it as an official meet.  If they do accept it, the times will count. And if the times do count, then we can celebrate TJ Russ for breaking the Bay Hills pool record in the 100 IM (Individual Medley)!!!!  He swam a time of 1:10.12 and may have broken the previous record of 1:10.62 set by Max Shipp of Cape St. Claire, back in 2023.  Way to go TJ!!!  

Our next meet is this Saturday, away against the Indian Hills Water Llamas.  The meet signups are open and the deadline to declare your intent to swim and choose your events is tomorrow, 5pm.  This deadline is firm as we need to have our lineups finalized on Thursday.  Therefore we cannot accept late entries. Don't miss out!!

We will have more information on the meet later this week.  Friday is our first Pep Rally of the season!  Plus it's an Ice Cream Social, so let's get together and have some fun!!!
