Good morning Barracudas!

The start of our 2026 summer season is less than a week away, and we can’t to kick things off!!! Just a few reminders about Swimtopia, schedules and how our Team operates. For those families joining us for the first time, please look for a follow-up email with more details to help make this summer fun & easy!

Swimtopia

Our Team is managed using the Swimtopia meet management program. Please be sure to download the Swimtopia app and start getting acquainted with the layout & functionality. If you have challenges with the app, consider logging into Swimtopia and our Team website using a laptop or tablet.

Practices

Evening practices start Tuesday 5/26. Please check the schedule and information under the Practices tab.

Note – due to the size of our 8&Under group (this includes 6&Unders), we alternate New/Returning swimmers during the Evening Practices. Returning 8&U swimmers Monday & Wednesday//New 8&U swimmers Tuesday & Thursday.

Morning practices will officially start on Wednesday 6/17, however there is one Saturday morning practice scheduled for Saturday 5/30.

Assessment Period

New swimmers will be assessed on their ability to meet our minimum safety requirement during the first 2-weeks of the season. All swimmers must be able to swim 1 full length of the pool without stopping or the assistance of flotation devices, lane lines, pool bottom or walls, or other people.

The Assessment Period will end with the conclusion of the Mock Meet, scheduled for Saturday 6/6. Coaches will share feedback and outcomes with all new families by Sunday 6/7, and refunds will be processed after 6/7. All decisions made by the Coaches will be final.

Meets

All regular season meets will open up today 5/20 at 11am. Please review the Swimmer Sign up Instructions under the Meets tab on our Team website - https://bay-hills-barracudas.swimtopia.com/swimmer-sign-up. Swimmers are encouraged to sign up for meets now so you can lock-in your summer plans early!

We have 3 Championship meets at the end of the season, and there will be more information to come on these later in the season.
