Silver Meet Information - please read

Good morning Barracudas!

For those attending tomorrow's Silver Meet, please know that we are continuing to monitor the meet conditions and air quality, and will share any guidance or decisions made by GASL about the meet.

Sensitive groups (including those with asthma, heart/lung disease, and older adults) should consider staying indoors. Please use your best judgement when bringing extra spectators, including very young children, elderly relatives, or any individuals sensitive to the poor air quality conditions to spectate at the meets.

For now, the meet is expected to proceed as scheduled and GASL is allowing Teams to make scratches to their line-ups until 3pm today.  If you want to scratch an event or the whole meet, you must let us know by 1:30pm today.  If your swimmer(s) are in a relay, it is critical that you notify us of any scratches. Once the meet is locked again, any scratch of a relay swimmer will scratch the entire relay.

Please see the Heat and Psych Sheets attached, along with the Athlete Check-in report which lists events by name.  Please note what you are swimming.

Parking

We will be providing 1 dedicated parking for each of our visiting Teams, so please plan on carpooling or getting to the meet early.  Do not park in marked spaces.

Timeline

Please arrive no later than 6:30am.  As the host Team, we warm-up first from 6:55 - 7:10am. We will split this time up between 11 & Unders, and 12 & Ups as we normally do. Please be on time so you can stretch and complete warm-upsThe meet timeline has us ending around 1pm.

Team Seating

Bay Hills will be seated in the Baby Pool enclosure, at the far side closest to the pavilion (and Concessions! :)).  Please note - no tents or chairs are allowed on the blue splash pad.

Volunteers

Please check in for your volunteer assignment upon your arrival to the pool. Be sure to report to your post on time and do not leave until authorized to do so.  There are still important vacancies that must be filled to help us run this meet.  If you have a swimmer in the meet, it is expected that you be available to volunteer if needed.  For those who are close to meeting their volunteer requirement, this is a great opportunity to help out. We are known for putting on the BEST MEETS IN THE LEAGUE!!!

We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates as we have them.  Please limit your time outside today, and be safe!!!

Thank you,

Coaches Ella, Lizzie, Marley and Dean
